Wide Open Spaces Art Course
If you've ever sensed a pull to experience REAL conversations with God, as if he were sitting across from you listening intently over a cup of coffee, this class is your invitation to coffee. At the end of this course you'll no longer feel guilty for those days you didn't 20 minutes to "spend in prayer".
Prayer happens long before and certainly after we are no longer in "quiet time" or walking through a time painful journey. Prayer is an ongoing conversation with God, whether we realize it or not.
Wide Open Spaces is an online art course that brings creativity and prayer together. You have been created to be creative. Creativity is exactly how God speaks to you and with you.
Think of a parent and child sitting together coloring in a color book. They spend time creating calmly and talking about most anything. Unknowingly, they are bonding in play, relieving stress and allowing the brain a much needed time off.
Wide Open Spaces is the "adult" prayer version of this concept. Instead of coloring pages we create landscapes in a minimalist style using the Color Block technique. I share with you the easy process for creating the landscape, using color and adding intensity to make the landscape "live".
As we work through the art process I share the approach and opportunity that takes you from only creating to listening and sharing with God...ie conversations with God.
